End of Moore's law

The end of Moore’s law marks the termination of the continuous growth of HPC performance, while the challenges related to deep physic simulations still require orders of magnitude of additional power.

There are therefore only two ways towards achieving accessible Scale Resolved simulations :

Develop new generation algorithms on GPU, with enhanced accuracy,
Prepare the road towards Quantum Computers, which will offer orders of magnitude faster operations.

Turbulence

Most of industrial flow predictions use Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) simulations, time-averaging turbulence, with limited accuracy.

To reach a new level of accuracy and reliability of flow and weather predictions, Scale Resolved Turbulence simulations are required.

This requires new technological paradigms developed by PrediQT Technologies.
